AI roleplays

A counterpart that wants something from the conversation too.

Most practice bots agree with you after two messages. Here the other side has a role, a goal, a mood and things it will not say until you earn them. You speak or type, it answers like a person with its own agenda.

What makes the counterpart feel real

  • A public role and a private one

The participant sees a short brief: who they are talking to and what is at stake. The counterpart also holds private facts, such as a budget ceiling, a competing offer or the real reason for a refusal.

  • Attitude that changes

Trust, patience and openness move with every turn. A good question can soften the counterpart. Pressure or vague promises make it guarded, and it stays that way until you repair it.

  • Objections that come back

If you brush an objection aside, it returns later in a different form. The counterpart does not forget what you said ten minutes ago.

Hidden state stays on the server

The private part of the scenario is never sent to the browser. It is not in the page source, the network traffic or the transcript shown during the session. The only way to learn it is the way you would in real life: ask well, listen and offer something credible. After the session, the report shows what you uncovered and what you missed.

Voice or text, your choice

  • Speak out loud

Voice practice is closest to the real thing. You hear the counterpart, answer in your own words and get speech metrics such as talk ratio, pace and filler words.

  • Type when you cannot talk

On a train or in an open office, switch to text. The counterpart behaves the same way and the report uses the same criteria.

  • Adjustable difficulty

Start with a cooperative counterpart and move to a sceptical or hostile one. Each level changes how much the other side gives away and how quickly.

Situations you can rehearse

Job interviews, salary talks, sales discovery calls, objection handling, performance reviews, feedback to a colleague, customer complaints and negotiations with a supplier. Pick a ready scenario or describe your own situation in a few sentences.
